Phase 5 — Construction & Inspections

Post the permit card at the job siteMost municipalities require the building permit card to be posted visibly at the construction site throughout the project.

Schedule pre-pour inspection (24-48 hrs advance notice required)Call before concrete is poured. Inspector verifies grading, formwork, reinforcement, and drainage. Do NOT pour without sign-off.

Pass pre-pour inspectionInspector signs off. Only then can your contractor pour concrete.

Schedule final inspection after construction is completeAfter slab, fencing, and lighting are complete. Must match approved plans. Call 24-48 hrs in advance.

Phase 6 — Records & Compliance

File all permit and inspection documents safelyBuilding permit, all inspection reports, HOA approval letter, approved site plan, contractor contracts and warranties.
